I enjoy the fun energy within our group (lets hope no one trys to shrink OUR heads to keep that energy!)
Many of us went to the audacity breakout session. Even though I wasn't certain I could easily work with the program, I was amazed at how logical and straight forward it was to use.
I plan to write up a script from our curator visit on a topic I would not have dreamed of this morning: shrunken heads!
Signing off as time shrinks away before tomorrow...
The World Is Flat!
Dick Diener ispired me to pick up this book on my way home from the conference today. My first day has humbled me as I realize that I have quite a bit of work to do to come up with a perfect podcast. But with the help of Jan and our group, we'll make it work and give the Museum something they can be proud of. Looking forward to seeing Kristan's work on the script so far...
I agree that today was a very informative day! I'm very happy we're all in a group together; it's going to be fun! I think we all have a lot of great ideas to share!
I set up my gmail account which is becca.schoenherr@gmail.com.
Kristan, good luck on the script!
Nate, hope you like the book... let me know how it is! My next read is The Secret by Rhonda Byrne ... but I digress ...
I agree we have a stellar group to work with. Nate you may have to do a book share with everyone at school about The World is Flat. Kristan hope the script is working fine. Becca I will invite you with your new Gmail account.
Jan I feel as if you are a member of our school district. Your approach to learning definitely fits well with ours. Tomorrow let's practice our own head shrinking techniques.
Becca,
I think you'd also like Eye Contact, by Cammie McGovern. It's a page turner murder mystery involving an autistic boy. But I furthur digress...
